My Momma's Seafood Gumbo

Never in the world have I had a more delicious gumbo than the one my stepmom, Jan, makes. It is so delicious and this past Christmas I learned all her secrets for the best gumbo on earth....
It actually looks very easy to make and I can't wait to make it for myself at home.
Ingredients:
- Lots of Celery
- Chives
- Onion
- Roux
- Creole Seasoning
- Beef broth
- Tomato paste
- Seafood!
- And any kind of rice to eat with it
Step 1: Start by chopping up your celery, chives, and onions and stir them in a big hot pot with oil.
Step 2: Add your beef broth to the mixture after your celery and onions have cooked a little.
Step 3: Once your broth starts sizzling you add your roux, some creole seasoning, and tomato paste. Now turn the heat lower and let this cook for a while.
Step 4: Jan chose to add crab and shrimp to this pot, you could really add whatever you'd prefer. So, she added crab first so the seafood doesn't overcook.
Step 5: Add your shrimp!
Step 6: Add some rice to your bowl and enjoy!
I reached this step so quickly I forgot to take a picture of my bowl! I will have to make it extra soon now :)
