Oktoberfest in Fredericksburg
Sunday, October 6, 2013 @ 8:44 AM

Roger and I have been wanting to attend Oktoberfest in Fredericksburg, so I was very excited when we were finally able to go! It didn't disappoint, we ate the most delicious potato pancakes (go get yourself some), walked around in amazing weather, found myself a floral headpiece, and enjoyed some German singing.

There were tons of handmade pieces but these little gems were by far the best. The guy who handmade these pieces was from Germany but is currently living in New Mexico. He hand carves each and every single one! They are salt and peper shakers... I obviously couldn't go without getting my own. The bison (under here) might have been the cutest but scroll to the bottom to see which two I picked out :)

On our way back to Austin we stopped at this brewery that Roger had heard about... I am not 21 and I do not drink so I found this place to be a bit boring but it did look really cool, so I took tons of pictures!

You made it! I got the longhorn and a little succulent (possibly agave) plant! I definitely wanted the longhorn and could not find a good pair to go with it so once I saw the succulent I thought it was perfect... already in use, too!

Have a fabulous start to the week!
